Castway Cay

Each Disney Cruise that sails in the Caribbean includes a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. With its breathtaking views to it’s adult only beach, there is plenty to do here for several days. Just relax and enjoy yourself on the beach, get a massage on the beach or parasail, it is your vacation!

Snorkel Lagoon

Discover species and creatures of the ocean in our environmentally friendly snorkel lagoon. Pick up your gear at “Gils Fins and Boats” and make your way to the educational area where you can learn more about our 12-acre snorkel lagoon. In the water, you can follow the Discover Trail (for beginners) or the Explorer Trail for the more advanced swimmers. Your all day equipment rental allow you to enter and exit the waters as many times as you like. A great first snorkeling experience! Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Boat Rental

A variety of boats are available to rent on Castaway Cay at Gil’s Fins and Boats. Boats are subject to availability; walk-up rental only. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. All prices are for one-half hour rental.

Float Rentals

The Wild Side (4 hours)

It’s time for some action and adventure as you re-trace some of the activities of the first teens on Castaway Cay – Molly and Seth. Snorkeling, Biking and Sea Kayaking on the wild side of the island will complete this 4-hour adventure!

Parasailing

Come experience the fun, thrills and excitement of the most enjoyable parasail ride in The Bahamas. No experience required. Our parasailing ride is designed to be enjoyed by Guests age 8 and older. While soaring single or tandem high above beautiful Castaway Cay you will enjoy a spectacular view of the shimmering sand, turquoise water, and breath-taking skyline. An unforgettable experience with an ultra-modern, state-of-the-art winch-boat for a fun and comfortable ride. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Banana Boat Ride (17-20 minutes)

It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s the Banana Ride at Castaway Cay. The Banana boat is an inflatable water sled, pulled by a jet Ski holding 10 people on it. It is a ride that the whole family can enjoy together. We will take you through the Cay inlet as we glide over the Caribbean waves. You may even see dolphins play or a flying fish skim over the water. With the wind in your hair, the water around you and the sun on your face, it is an experience that you will long remember.

Castaway Cay Bottom Fishing (3-3.5 hours)

This excursion allows fishermen the opportunity to perfect their skills or just experience the fun and challenge of reeling in their catch. You will be joined by up to 5 other fishermen. All fishing tackel and bait is provided along with bottled water and soda. Children 12 and under must wear a life vest.

Under 2 Flags Island Tour (3 hours)

Certified Scuba Dive (4 hours)

Make sure you bring your Certification Card, which will be necessary for you to sign up for this two-tank dive. Once in the water, you’ll have the opportunity to dive at some of St. Maarten’s most famous dive sights, where you’ll see beautiful coral and an abundance of colorful fish.

See & Sea Island Tour (3.5 hours)

This tour combines the best of land and sea, starting with a narrated bus ride to Grand Case. From there, experience the underwater wonder of St. Maarten on the SeaWorld Explorer, a semi-submarine. Afterwards, you’ll continue to Marigot, where you’ll spend approximately one hour to shop and visit the quaint town.

St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour (5 hours)

2-Tank Dive Tour (4 hours)

Certifiable fun. Certified divers first take a deep dive to a maximum depth of 80 feet on the famous Cayman Wall, where you’ll have a chance to swim among a variety of exotic tropical fish and corals. Then, you’ll take a shallow dive of 50 feet or less at a reef or wreck. All equipment is provided. Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine (1 hour)

Want to explore the sea without getting wet? Then climb aboard the Seaworld Explorer, a semi-submarine that will take you under the sea to get a glimpse of the ocean’s treasures. From the dock in downtown George Town, you’ll depart for a trip to the Callie, a shipwrecked steel schooner. Then it’s off to Cheeseburger Reef, home to a teeming variety of sealife. A knowledgeable marine expert on board will provide a fascinating narration and answer questions on this underwater world. Next, there’s another shipwreck to discover: the Balboa. Much of the ship’s cargo of wood was salvaged, and was used to construct many of the buildings you see in George Town today.

Cayman Wetlands Kayak Safari (3 hours)

Kayak along the tranquil beauty of the Caymans’ ecologically sensitive coastal environments. After a short, air-conditioned bus ride, you’ll set out on an exciting expedition, exploring secluded shorelines, inlets, bird-nesting areas, seagrass and mangrove communities. Along the way, your guide will describe points of interest while explaining the importance and interdependence of these fragile ecosystems with the surrounding coral reefs. There’s no substitute for this experience! The Atlantis, a U.S. Coast Guard certified submarine, is an incomparable way to view the ocean’s underwater paradise. Enjoy the vistas through large windows in air conditioned comfort to depths of 100 to 110 feet. You’ll see a variety of colorful and exotic tropical fish, including parrotfish, grunts and groupers, as the captain expertly navigates through 30-foot coral heads. Nautilus Undersea Tour (1-1.5 hours)

It’s the best of both worlds–the Nautilus glides like a boat and gives you a glorious underwater view like a sub, but never completely submerges. The largest, most luxurious semi-submarine in the world, the Nautilus lets you see the ocean from a brand-new perspective. After a short bus transfer, you’ll board the Nautilus and relax in its spacious, air conditioned underwater observatory.
